    CASE STUDY BRIEF::
    Williams College
    In 2007, Williams College committed to a goal of reducing its greenhouse gas emissions to 10% below 1990-1991 levels by 2020. Sebesta Blomberg developed a five-year master plan for campus energy and
    greenhouse gas management. The scope included a full energy assessment of 20 facilities with
    abbreviated scoping surveys of 60 buildings. The services included the integration of prior
    retrocommissioning studies, thus the master plan encompassed the entire campus. Nearly 50 separate
    areas of opportunity were identified, including operational enhancements, lighting conversions, controls upgrades and HVAC renovations. The master also addressed related longer term building issues,
    including connection to central utilities, distribution piping, electric building heating and obsolete windows. Renewable energy options were also including in the master plan. Sebesta Blomberg assisted
    with implementing the recommendations including detailed engineering, commissioning and savings
    verification services.
